Dogtoon Media’s own ”The Wandering Legion” will be taking over Salem Ma tomorrow with the help of some wonderful friends like the amazing astounding Dr. Phobius as well as some generally steamy folks. What’s in store for the witch city you may ask, well our steam powered friends will start the day off with a picnic on the Salem Willows, then to arms as our Legion leads the cavalcade of brass bandits down to the heart of Salem for a scavenger hunt around the city. After that folks are encouraged to enjoy all Salem has to offer, good food, amazing shops and one of a kind entertainment. After the city wide festivities are done the Wandering Legion and Dr. Phobius invite everyone to Darq for a delightful mix of bras brown and black. Many establishments have confirmed discounts for folks participating in the event. Photo ops galore and all the fun of hanging with the Wandering Legion of the Thomas Tew! Dogtoon Media will be on hand to film the entire event! and we CAN NOT WAIT!

So its been Crazy, …very crazy! and now that things are semi settling in, time to make some deadlines for our posts! We have lots to do to be sure! so here is the remainder of the week and next just in case!

Hey Gang! Just got back from the vet with Rupert Cornelius over here. He picked up a nasty fever at ConnettiCon over the weekend… STEAMPUNK FEVER! (see what I did there?! Eh?! EH?!) In all seriousness though, Dogtoon and the Wandering Legion were all over Connetticon having a grand old time gallivanting our love of all things nerdy. We just couldn’t get enough of all the panels and events going on! We presented “The Most Dangerous Game,” a convention-wide man hunt, which was a big hit! Ever been in the middle of a con-wide manhunt!? Psh, that’s just what we do on the weekends… no big deal! We participated in several panels with the Wandering Legion, and as soon as those wrapped up we headed over to see our friends at the Nerdfit Network. Little did we know, our own Rupert Cornelius was staring in the Nerdfit Cosplay Court Case as head prosecutor! He successfully helped prove or disprove crimes that our beloved characters may or may not have committed. In fact, he did SO well that Judge Judy is pushing for him to get his own reality show called “Judge of the Jungle,” but after being called “Donkey Kong” one too many times… Rupert’s law career might be short-lived. (We already had a theme song picked out and everything! Well… it was basically George of the Jungle’s theme song but instead of “watch out for that tree!” it was “plea”… and some other law words and stuff) But anyway, the court case went well and we had a great time assisting Nerdfit with their panels and events.
We also had the pleasure of meeting some web comic GREATS like Ryan Somer from “The Least I Could Do” and Garth Graham from “Finders Keepers.” We like making new friends. Will YOU be our friend? No?! Oh… ok.
While this madness was going down at the convention center, there was a bizarre bazaar of Steampunks congregating across town in the laboratories of Doctor Grimm! I’m sorry… I have that backwards. There was a Steampunk Bazaar that was just filled with bizarre trinkets and gadgets and people alike! We rubbed elbows with artists and performers from all over New England, including our friends from the Red Fork Empire. Come to think of it… this is probably where Rupert got sick. All that elbow rubbing?? SOOO unsanitary. Well, once again we had an absolute blast and we’d like to thank the Wandering Legion, Nerdfit, and all our friends who make each convention such a success.
Has it been a year already? Dear friends, what a trip it has been! This weekend Dogtoon Media is going back to CTCON in Hartford for a weekend of crazy convention fun! again to rub elbows with some fellow web artists and make some great connections! We at Dogtoon so love CTCON, the people, the stories the fun! lest we forget this is the location of the lighting v iPhone story.
This year we have so much awesome going on. The best of which needs to be announced first! Dogtoon’s own Rupert Cornelius will be appearing at the Nerdfit’s amazing 18+ Cosplay Court House. this event puts some of the costumed attendees of CTCON on trial, Since Nerdfit is running it and it has that 18+ right there in the title well, you know its gonna get crazy! and our own Educated Ape will have to be on his articulated toes, Nerdfits own “The Internet” will be presiding over the hearing, and that means things will be getting CRAZY!!

Doug is taking a trip up North for fun and adventures in the dark woods, oh and a convention! but dont worry he wont be going alone! our dear Director has persuaded Rupert to postpone his filming and join him on this Road trip! So look for video updates of the voyage! Man and Ape, working together to…. find Maine… yeah.. never said it was an epic journey! but it is a Journey!!

Of course I hate doing this, but recent sickness that I am now finally over (Thank god!) and shifting back to day shift 9 to 5 at my workplace ha, both really set me back. the comic is behind and I am in drastic need to edit several videos that got int he works before I was struck down with the death! (friends and loved ones claim it was me overworking myself, we both know it was the universe punishing me for not doing enough! Don’t we?) anyway we have some big events coming up So I will post this weeks ideal calendar, please bare with me though if I have to rework some things.
